This month I bring you tracks from across the spectrum. From local Atlanta Hip-Hop acts to a new tune from Jeezy and some classic hip-hop from BIG K.R.I.T. Luda & Bun B. Of course the new dance tunes that I will be playing out as well! Click the link to be redirected to the soundcloud link!
Tonight, make sure you head to Graveyard in East Atlanta Village to catch Kid Cedek at FILTHY & FAMOUS playing all night! If you aren’t ready to give up on the night after that, check out this warehouse party that will go into the late night. Both Kid Cedek and Jay Envy have rocked this party and can attest to the energy and vibes of this party.
Check out this video for King Fantastic’s track “Why? Where? What?“. The song is definitely next level! King Fantastic remixed Bassnectar’s “BASS HEAD” a while back and that’s when we first came on to him! We find his style being somewhere between Murs x Luda x Aesop Rock.
Floyd and Jeremy, the brothers that form the duo Weapons of Audio are at it again. After releasing their debut album “BiPolar,” the two have just put out one of the dopest freestyles via www.djbooth.net.
As described by DJBOOTH, “One of the most original and creative contributions to this series to date. The live instrumentation is way beyond anything we would ever expect from an artist who is participating, but its clear that Weapons of Audio (true to their name) are not your usual artist.” -DJ Z
The Atlanta duo, Weapons of Audio, is putting on a free show tonight at the Star bar for the release of their debut album, “Bipolar.” I have provided my favorite video of theirs, check it out. The concept is GENIUS!
Sending Cali Love from A3C in ATL. Just sat down with The Jacka to share his west coast spirit with us. Jacka began his music career with Mob Figaz and released his first solo album in 2001 titled “Jacka of the Mob Figgaz.” Jacka’s newest album, “Broad Daylight,” is a smarter, edgier album that allows Jacka to voice himself to the listeners. The Artist Record’s which is Jacka’s personal indie label is also putting out two new albums with Paul Wall and Freeway respectively. The label has allowed Jacka “…to build from the ground up.” As The Jacka continues to be in the studio he is working on allowing his music to speak for itself. As he progresses his solo work, Jacka is also mixing his new album with Mob Figaz.
Check out the new track from The Gobots Pt. II “Play At Your Own Risk.”
The first day of the festival is complete and the second day is starting as we speak. With a handful of panels to start

Looking forward to tonight with back to back sets provided by DJ SCRATCH and DJ Rob Swift, will be a treat to the ears. I will have more personal interviews up as the day progresses, but I will leave you with some video interviews courtesy of the A3C festival staff. 9th Wonder Interview…Buckshot Interview..
First interview is complete. One Be Lo formally of Binary Star killed his performance as he wrapped up the set on the
One Be Lo
Jakprints stage. Creator of Subterraneous Records One Be Lo set out to put “WaterWorld” on the map for all of Michigan and across the world. As the MC for the world champion B-Boy crew Massive Monkees, One Be Lo states that he “…had the B-Boy mentality all day growing up…” One Be Lo began rapping at the high school lunch table as he found out that spitting lyrics “…was more fun than eating a sandwich.” Currently One Be Lo is working on what he calls a “soundtrack” titled L.A.B.O.R. (Language Arts Based On Reality) which is a prelude to his album B.A.B.Y. (Being A Black Youth). B.A.B.Y. is the first record that One Be Lo claims “…I knew it would be my dope record.” Be on the heads up for the newest tracks from One Be Lo as he is busy in the studio.
