Some of you may have already caught wind about the Official Warped Tour After Party that Myself and SELFLESS MURDER CLOTHING are bringing to ATL on Monday July 26th right after the show at Lakewood Amphitheater. If you haven’t, check out the flyer and Facebook event link below.

I feel like I’m on the the double grind duty lately especially with getting this party planned for ATL and such. I laugh when people tell me– “you have it pretty easy bra”. Why do I laugh? Because I may very well be when of the hardest working dudes on/off the clock. Somebody used to tell me all the time (cant remember who for the life of me) YOU ONLY GET OUT OF LIFE WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT! And let me tell you I hope I get half of what I put in as a ROI (Return on Investment). Don’t get me wrong I love every minute of what I do. I’m SUPER blessed, but after a long day of rockin in the tent sometimes I just want to kick back and relax…

ANYWAY I got a little side tracked what I was leading into earlier was that there is always a lot going on behind the scenes with me. Check the exclusive tour flyer below that OH SNAP KID hooked up!

The flyer directly above is the one Myself, Selfless Murder Clothing, and some other volunteers will be posting on Band Buses, Catering Areas, Shower areas, you name it—We are there!!! I’m working hard to bring out the HELLMAN’s (lol)

I’ll be the one to tell you that coordinating bus pick ups for a punk/rock tour may be one of the hardest things I could make an attempt at. Thx to Orlando (HALO LOUNGE) We were able to arrange for some shuttle buses to pick up the tour and bring us over to the party! Our first buses will be making their pick up at 8:45pm (from Lakewood Amphitheatre) on that Monday the 26th so be ready to party early guys!

Its probably been a couple weeks since you’ve heard from me… (Unless you follow my twitter then you would notice my A.D.D.’d thoughts) haha. We’ve been through a fair amount of cities since the Canada dates which were when I think my last update was posted–ANY WHO, since that time I’ve actually had some awesome times meeting some friends on the east coast and such! Which is always awesome, but when you add this to the equation it gets much better

Yeah, If you are wondering what that is in the background…thats exactly right SIX FLAGS! We got to the Buffalo, NY Show a lil over a week ago or so and this is what I saw as I walked into catering for breakfast

Awesome huh? In my mind I was like wait…We get into Six Flags free? All Day? WTF that’s crazy. Not only did we get in free, but we got to walk up the exit ramps of the park and cut line we were definitely on that “Tour Badge-SWAG ayyyyy” (Kid Cedek Tell-em 2010) wow its late- im trippin. But really tho it was an awesome time!

What Else…Ah I did some shopping (FINALLY). I’ve been pretty reserved lately, been on my grown-folk with the saving, but I figured it was about time that I bought myself something—especially since my actual birth date just passed and all (July 15th) oh and real quick here’s the bday cake the fam on my tour bus got for me. (Or more like my face filled with joy haha)

I was gonna upload the video of the surprise bday party video, but its a little dark so I decided against it! I promise I will have a legit video for you recapping all the events of the tour once its all wrapped up! Internet on this thing is very iffy at times.

Check out the kicks my boy Stevo (from the DMV) hooked me up with… STUSSY X NIKE SWAG. $260 dollar premium joints straight from TOKYO (As you can see from the box). They didn’t fit him so I guess I win!- by default of course lol

CLEVELAND/QUEBEC SHOWS + RANDOM GOODNESS

I definitely get asked constantly–”whats the lifestyle like?” And my response normally is-”its a punk/rock tour, use your imagination”, and I truly mean that!

Imagine a place where there is a party in “bus world” every night. With your choice of bbq favs every nite. A hot dog or cheeseburger Of course those of you that know me, know that I’m not one to drink or get involved in other “extracurricular” activities. But you do know I love to party! So you will catch me hanging at these bbqs gettin acquainted w/ some different peeps and checking out the diverse music selections that the Myspace Music & other tour fam choose.

We definitely know how to have a good time on this tour! But we also still grind pretty hard! Lots and lots of sleepless nights, but at the end of the day when I walk around and look at things like this….

it totally makes all the sleepless nights worth it! Just thinking about what it would be like to rock in front of a crowd that size makes me jittery, but ONE DAY!!!

Anyway… Sorry I just had a moment there lol. Back to business. I know its been a few days since you’ve heard from me on here. Trust me. Lots has happened in the variety of cities we’ve been too and most of that is catalogued in my flip cam. Although, there were somethings that I did grab some digital pics of from my iphone!

First I bring you a couple pics from Cleveland, OH. I had the pleasure of being there as Lebron was teetering on his decision… But thankfully we booked it before things got crazy!

WARPED TOUR vs Tropical Storm alex

So… Back again for another update. Past few days we have been through some drastic changes in weather. As some of you may have already seen the last post about our off day/show in Phoenix, AZ– You know the weather we dealt with there was close to 115 degrees, then we got to Las Cruces, NM and the weather there was awesome! About 80 degrees. Of course as we got to San Antonio, TX we began to catch the wrath of tropical storm ALEX. Although there was some thoughts kicked around prior to the show about whether or not we were going to move the show at the AT&T Center inside the venue, we ended up doing our thing in the rain. Thankfully we were dealing with scattered T-storms more than anything…

Which brings me to the reason I’m writing tonight!!!

We get to Houston, TX this morning. Our Load ins were scheduled for 9am as opposed to the normal 8am Times. Doors Pushed back to 1pm and why??? Because of some of this craziness is headed our way…

Now if I was home in ATL with maybe a gig to do on a nite that there was some cloudiness, maybe even some rain during the day, I’d just wear some rugged ish and hope that it would’nt discourage people from showin up. But on a production of this size when it rains. Especially at a venue such as the Sam Houston Race Way (A Mixture of Grass, Dirt, & Asphalt) we ALL feel the effect! As you can see from the ridiculous pic of the muddy catering situation below…

So… As I said “the show must go on” –and it most definitely did. I spent my morning watching crews of people lugging stuff around the 3-6 inch deep mud. Whats cool is that my Wonka team decided against any electronics in the set up. So once the production team got our tent up the forklifts brought all the candy to the tent and this is pretty much what was going on there today…

Yep, just a bunch of candy sampling. Apparently our team of local staff hands out almost 33,000 samples of candy daily at each event. CRAZY RIGHT?

I know that this whole post seems all dark and gloomy, but it’s really NOT. Bands like All American Rejects killed their shows (as usual) and I ended up getting an off day (as there were no electronics in our set up). So thats what I definitely call a #WIN–4 sho! Definitely got to catch up on some emails and work on some tunes! And hang out/meet some cool new peeps in bus world! Check out the set up on the bus!

My company mac w/ the Verizon card in that piece (on the right), personal Mac Book Pro (on the left), magic mouse, & last but not least–my Korg Nano Key (always a PLUS on the road) thx again DJ Smiles (WHITE LIGHT) for that suggestion!

For those of you that are curious… Here is what my next few days are like… Dallas tomorrow 7/3. Tour party from 9pm-2am at the DOUBLE WIDE following our show. Then off day in Bonner Springs, KY for Independence Day. 7/5 St. Louis, MO. 7/6 Indianapolis, IN. 7/7 Toronto 7/8 Montreal… and then you can just go to KIDCEDEK.COM for the rest cause it’s non stop lol!

Life On The Road, New Warped Video Post, & More

Hey all!! Just wanted to fill you in on how life on the road is treating me! I even went ahead and uploaded those pics below to show you the kind of random things I run into on a daily basis… Overall my experience has been great although today there was some scoooorchiinngg heat in Phoenix it was about 112 degrees—dry heat or humid heat THATS HOT. Made it really hard to breath at times… I promise you I must of drank 10 of these…

and I didn’t use the restroom to “drain the lizard” once. Lol

“Anyway,” (For my folks that know about Unforgiveable haha) As some of you know the tour had an off day yesterday (somewhere just outside of Phoenix) The spot we stayed at was called Wigwam Resort. Pretty legit if you ask me! I got to stay in this little cabana all to my self (which was much needed)

Don’t get me wrong all the people on my tour bus are awesome, but its always nice to be able to kick back and relax on the solo tip of course! Although, when I did in fact want to get up with some people we hit up the pool there which was siiick! Had a dope water slide too! Sorry no pic of the slide but check this:

What else… Oh Check out some of the tour goodies I got upon arrival to Carson, CA.

Pretty awesome stuff! Ended up going with those half cabs cause I’m a fan of purple (have you not noticed?)lol But before I was able to find that pair I had to sort through all this:
